Windows Mobile makes it easy to access your favorite Web-based e-mail accounts. Choose from one of the following links to begin setting up your e-mail:
Gmail
You can access your Gmail messages from Outlook Mobile in three ways:
* Set up Gmail as a POP3 account
* Automatically forward Gmail
* Access Gmail from the Internet
Set up Gmail as a POP3 Account
To set up Gmail for POP3, start with these steps:

Set up Gmail as a POP3 account
*
Log in to your Gmail account from your PC.
*
Select Settings at the top of any Gmail page.
*
Select the Forwarding and POP tab in the orange Mail Settings box.
*
Under POP Download, choose to Enable POP for all mail or Enable POP only for mail that arrives from now on.
*
Specify whether you want Gmail to keep a copy of messages in the Inbox when you access messages through POP.
*
Select Save Changes.

Now you can auto-configure Gmail from your smartphone:
*
On your smartphone, press Start and scroll to Messaging.
*
Select Outlook E-mail > Menu > Options > New Account.
*
Enter your name.
*
Enter your e-mail address.
*
Check the box that says Attempt to obtain e-mail settings from the Internet and select Next.
*
In the Auto Setup screen, wait until the status changes from Connecting to Finished.
*
Enter your e-mail user name.
*
Enter your password.
*
Leave Domain blank.
*
Check Save password, so you don’t have to enter it every time you check e-mail.
*
Select Next.
*
Make sure that Server Type is set to POP3.
*
Select Next.
*
Make sure that Incoming Server is set to pop.gmail.com: 995.
*
Where it says, Require SSL connection, say No (uncheck the box).
*
Make sure that Outgoing Server is set to smtp.gmail.com: 465.
*
Where it says, Outgoing server requires authentication, say Yes (check the box).
*
Change preference settings as appropriate and select Next.
*
Select Finish.
*
Select Yes to confirm that you would like to download mail for this new account now.
To view your latest messages on your smartphone, select Menu > Send/Receive.
Automatically Forward Gmail to Another Account
To set up automatic forwarding, follow these steps:

Log in to your Gmail account from your PC.
*
Select Settings at the top of any Gmail page
*
Select Forwarding and POP in the orange Mail Settings box.
*
Select Forward a copy of incoming mail and enter the e-mail address to which you’d like your e-mail forwarded.
Now your Gmail will automatically be forwarded to this account.
Access Gmail from the Internet
If you don’t subscribe to an unlimited data plan—or need only occasional access to your Gmail account—you may prefer to access your Gmail from your smartphone using Internet Explorer. To access your account through Internet Explorer, go to http://m.gmail.com.
